Creative Direction for The Come Up Book Series

The Come Up Book Series was created by Lyah Beth Leflore and DL Warfield and was published by Simon and Schuster. The rights to the series was eventually sold to BET and became a web series. We did the creative direction, illustration, design and overall concept development for this literary project.

Cover designs for each book cover in the Come Up Book Series published by Simon and Schuster.

Co-creator and Author Lyah Beth Leflore and I used social media to cast the kids to portray the characters in our book series. We would send them passages from the book and they would pose and send us back images to be designed and illustrated with.

This logo was designed for the Hundred Thousand Book Challenge that was crated and used to drive brands and readers to The Come Up book series.
